Mad Scientists
"Dr. D" will be back for an encore performance tomorrow (Thursday June 21) in the gymnasium for the entire Kindergarten division. This is sure to be a hit with the children as we're STILL hearing about their LIGHT experiments, including their so-cool ultra violet bead bracelets that 'help protect them from the sun'. "We'd better put on our sunscreen. Our beads are gonna change colour for sure this recess". Another reason for her popularity: they've recently discovered that we have a plush puppet resembling "Dr. D". The puppet, which coincidentally is wearing a doctors lab coat and has Dd written on its tummy, has become a popular toy during play time.
This time the children, with Dr. D at the helm, will be exploring Air. We're sure to be blown away with new knowledge! ;O

Summer Birthdays
We will be celebrating (in class) on Friday June 22nd. More information to follow tomorrow.
Teddy Bear Picnic (our last HURRAH of our Inaugural Year at St. Gabriel's)
Our Teddy Bear picnic will definitely be on Wednesday June 27th (no rain date) We have planned some more excitement/visitors to cap off our year. The children are, of course, welcome to bring in a teddy, or other favourite stuffy, to share in the excitement. Please ensure that the stuffed animals are clearly labelled so that we don't misplace our cherished stuffed companions. We'll be sending home the children's Quiet Time blankets at the end of the day after we've completed our celebration.That's all for now folks. Enjoy your first day of summer. It sure is HOT enough :)
