As we wrap up Valentine/Spirit week, the children will have many happy memories:
Ask your child about his/her Secret Admirer; much fun was had in writing their wishes for their special friend. Watching them receive their own personal message was touching. Their faces lit up as their peers described one of their qualities. This hand-made valentine should have been in the bag with other Valentine's Day treats that were sent home. We hope you find it :o)
On the heels of our Valentine's week love fest, we look forward to future discussions/explorations about Family Day, which will be celebrated this Monday, February 20th (no school).
We invite you to send a family photo to school with your child. It will used for discussion purposes and will be added to his/her discovery journal for writing inspiration.
