Just a little reminder that our grade 6 students will be selling freezies tomorrow for $0.50 in order to raise money for their end of the year trip. If you would like your child to enjoy one, please send coins in a Ziploc bag and place it in the mail folder.
Also, the children will be bringing home their blankets at the end of the week to have them washed. If you could send them back one more time, we will return them the last week of school.
As for our classroom discovery news, a few children recently observed a butterfly drinking nectar with its 'tongue'. The children wondered if other insects ate that way? As such, we have decided to study the wonderful world of insects.
This afternoon, your child was sent off with a quick homework assignment. We asked them to choose an insect that they would like to learn more about for tomorrow. Perhaps you could help them figure out which one intrigues them the most?
Stay tuned for more news from your little scientists!
