Well, it has been a busy week here at St. Gabriel's. We enjoyed celebrating Halloween and All Saints Day. We also participated in our monthly News Show, celebrated birthdays, completed our pumpkin study and said goodbye to a classmate. Boy, the children have earned a rest!
Student photos have gone out this week. Please return them by the due date. Also, Scholastic order forms are coming home tonight. What a great way to start some Christmas shopping!!! Please return orders by next Friday, November 9th. Oops, we ran out of time this afternoon - quiet time blankets will go home next Friday for their monthly wash.
With the cooler weather upon us, please ensure that your child is dressed appropriately (hat, mitts, neck warmer/scarf that can be tucked in). We also encourage the children to dress themselves - we look forward to having every child on our "Zipper Rock Star" Wall of Fame! (this is achieved by being able to do one's zipper up independently). Also, if your child has difficulty remembering which shoe goes on the left and on the right foot, we remind them that their shoes should be in a position for their toes to KISS. Otherwise, we can hear poor toes crying from being squished!
