...materials that will support our next learning project. Your child may have come home tonight excited to tell you about the Animal Hospital they've decided to open in our dramatic play area. In order to further develop the learning in this area, the children are invited to bring in a (pretend) animal in need of medical intervention. We are also looking for:
-old baby socks that we can cut to use as 'casts'
-bandages/gauze
-old medicine syringes/plungers
-old white dress shirts to act as 'Doctor's lab coats'
-X-ray films
-pet dishes
-empty pet-food containers/packaging
-the board game Operation
-magazines/brochures (for our 'waiting area')
-and any other medical themed 'loose parts' we can use with our imagination to support our learning.
If you do have materials that you are willing to send in, but would like returned, please send in a note with the item(s) and we will ensure extra-special care is taken with our borrowed materials.
