Weekly Update

As we settle into Winter the children have been exploring the properties of Snow. We brought in a shovel full of snow and the children were able to really get a 'hand'le on the snow as it melted due to their warm hands and the warm surroundings. We've challenged them with making a prediction over the weekend: Having put equal amounts of snow in two different glasses, we covered only one with plastic wrap. The children have been asked to predict what will happen to the contents of BOTH glasses. Please find below pics of the glasses to help the children recall the science experiment:

A Friendly, But Important Reminder:

Please do NOT send in food/treats for your child to share with and/or 'gift' to the other children in the classroom. We have life-threatening allergies in the class. If there is a special occasion, such as a holiday (e.g., Valentine's Day) or birthday and your child would like to celebrate, a favourite book to share during our read-aloud or stickers are always popular and welcome.

Enjoy the week-end!
