Next Monday is officially Earth Day and St. Gabriel's will be supporting this important day with activities all week long! Please see below for daily activities:
Monday: Lights out Canada Day
Children are invited to come dressed in black to look 'dark' while the lights are out!
We will also be attending an eco awareness presentation in the gym.
Tupperwear Tuesday / Book Fair visit
Children are asked to bring all lunch/snack items in reusable containers - we are really hoping that all children will have a litterless lunch!
We will also be visiting the Book Fair Tuesday afternoon from 2:20 to 2:45. Please send any monies in a Ziploc bag identified with your child's name.
Wednesday - Clean up the Capital
We will do our share of cleaning up our yard sometime during the day.
Thursday - water awareness day
All students are reminded today that only reusable water bottles are permitted at St. Gabriel's. One-time use water bottles continue to be banned. We will have a class discussion to explain the reason behind the ban.
Friday - PD day (teacher school :o)
