Our New St. Gabriel Visitors...

The children were surprised and very excited to welcome something new to our school yard today.
We don't want to give the secret away right yet, so we'll give you some hints:
"It's white," hints Miss A.W.
"It's round," hints Miss J.H.
"It's hard," says Mr. G.H.
"It starts with the letter 'g'," hints Mr.'s J.A. & R.C.
"The word has two o's in it," says Mr. M.M.
"It kinda looks like Hero the Zero," says Mr. B.E.
"It's shaped like an oval," says Mr. A.P.
"It's kinda curved," says Miss C.Q.
"It's very fragile," hints Miss. R.M.
"Maybe it's big, maybe it's small. " suggests Mr. L.D.
"It's like our fists," says Mr. L.R.
"Right now it's in a puddle, but it's supposed to be in a nest," says Miss. N.J.
"It will have feathers," suggests Miss. Z.P.

"It came from something that can go in the water," says Mr. M.M.
"It came from something that walks on two legs," says Mr. W.C.
"It came from something that can fly," hints Mr. A.A.
"The daddy has black on its' head," says J.B-A.
"The mom and dad make sounds like, honk, honk, honk," says Mr. LB.
"The mom and dad went somewhere where the sun got them warm for winter. It's spring now-they're back," hints Mr. A.M.
"The mom and dad are black, white, and brown," hints Miss. A.C.
"The mom and dad need to get a nest for the _____," hints Mr. J.A.
"The mom and dad are making a nest," says Mr. O.G.
"The mommy and daddy have wings," says Miss. A.O.
"The 'little visitor' can't fly yet because it has small wings," says Miss. E.M.

You've probably figured it out by now...it's a "goose" egg, says Mr. T.P

The children are excited to see what will happen. Will the egg remain in our yard? Will the mama and papa geese make a nest? Will it hatch? How can we help keep it safe?
