Lenten project

We'd like to thank all the children for their hard work and generosity in giving to others. As you can see, our heart is filling up - as the children have been purchasing items for CHF, we have been adding puzzle pieces to our heart.

This project will continue after March Break until Easter and we will have a chance to fill our heart completely. On that note, we have been exploring the concept of money as the children bring in their coins.

Springing ahead...

When we return from the Break, we will be celebrating 
Spring has Sprung Week. Here is a preview of our activities:

Monday - Hat Day and Easter Door Decorating contest begins

Tuesday - Backwards Day and Estimate Jar Guessing

Wednesday - First Day of Spring - Beach Day and Games Day (bring in your favorite 'simple' board game, ie. candyland, dominoes, tictactoe, etc.), judging of Easter Doors after school

Thursday - Purple Spirit Day, School Spirit gathering in gym to create a daffodil, Winners of Door decorating and Estimation jar announced

Friday - PJ Day and 2nd block movie in gym (Gr. 1-6) in Learning commons (kindergarten). Donate a twoonie or loonie to support CHF and watch the movie!
